ULTIMATE POKER

Get ready for a gripping duel with the bank

SHARPEN YOUR STRATEGY AGAINST THE CROUPIER

A variation of traditional poker, Ultimate Poker offers a new way to play. The participants, up to 7 of them at the Table, will not be playing against each other but instead trying to beat the Bank, in the person of the Croupier. Before the cards are dealt, you must place your chips on the squares marked ‘Bet (Ante)’ for an initial bet and ‘Blind’ for a blind bet of the same amount. From then on, these wagers can no longer be removed or changed. So make sure you think them through carefully from the beginning. It is also possible to make an optional bet on the ‘Bonus’ square.

    - The Croupier then deals 2 cards to each player, ending with him- or herself, and places 5 community cards on the table, all face down. However, if the Croupier uses an automatic card dealing machine, the dealing order changes: first the 5 community cards, then the 2 cards for each player and finally the Bank’s 2 cards.

    - The players can then ‘check’ (do nothing) or bet an amount equal to 3 or 4 times their initial ‘Ante’ bet.

    - The Croupier then turns over 3 community cards, and this time, if you did not wager in the previous round, you can only bet double the amount of your Ante.

    - The Croupier then turns over the final 2 cards. If you have still not made a bet on the Play square, your wager cannot exceed the value of your Ante. If you decide to fold, you lose your stakes.

    - Finally, the Croupier turns over his or her cards and the players still in contention compare their hands to the Bank’s. The best hand wins the game. .

RESULTS & WINNINGS

1- If the Croupier has the best hand, he or she takes all the Blind, Ante and Play wagers (special rules apply to the Bonus: see below)

2- In case of an equal hand, the wagers remain with the players, who have neither lost nor gained (special rules apply to the Bonus: see below)

3- If a player has a better hand than the Croupier, the player recovers all of his or her initial stakes and his or her winnings will be paid based on the following payout table:

FOR THE ANTE SQUARE AND THE PLAY SQUARE

- 1 x the wager

FOR THE BLIND
- Straight: 1 x the wager
- Flush: 1.5 x the wager
- Full house: 3 x the wager
- Four of a kind: 10 x the wager
- Straight flush: 50 x the wager
- Royal flush: 500 x the wager

FOR THE BONUS

Bonus wagers are separate. You win the Bonus bet only if you have three of a kind or better, irrespective of the bank's hand:
- Three of a kind: 3 x the wager
- Straight: 4 x the wager
- Flush: 7 x the wager
- Full house: 8 x the wager
- Four of a kind: 30 x the wager
- Straight flush: 40 x the wager
- Royal flush: 50 x the wager

These payout levels are indicated on the poker table.

4- If the Croupier’s hand is less than a pair, the Bank does not qualify, the Ante stakes are returned to the Players and the Players' hands are then compared with the Bank’s hand.
